Terms of Service

Last updated 16 October 2026

These terms govern your use of MyCashflow App. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who you are contracting with

MyCashflow App is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered at [STREET, POSTCODE, CITY, COUNTRY], Chamber of Commerce number [KVK NUMBER], VAT number [VAT NUMBER]. You can reach us at [CONTACT EMAIL].

In these terms, “we” and “us” mean that company, and “you” means the person using the service.

2. What the service is

MyCashflow App is a tool for recording a monthly financial statement — your income, expenses, assets and liabilities — and for seeing how those figures change over time. Every number in it is a number you typed. We do not connect to your bank, we do not import transactions, and we do not verify anything you enter.

3. This is not financial advice

Nothing in MyCashflow App is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.

The calculations, insights and projections the app shows are arithmetic applied to figures you supplied, using general assumptions — for example, that a portfolio can sustainably support withdrawals of around 4% a year. That assumption may not hold, and it may not hold for you. Your circumstances, your tax position and your risk tolerance are not known to the app.

We are not licensed financial advisers. Decisions you make about your money are yours. If a decision matters, speak to a qualified adviser who knows your situation.

4. Your account

You need an account to use the service. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Use an address you can actually receive mail at — it is how we reach you about your subscription and how you recover access.

One account is for one person. Do not share credentials. Tell us at [CONTACT EMAIL] if you think someone else has got into your account.

5. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break into the service, other people’s accounts or the systems behind it. Do not scrape it, resell it, or automate access to it in a way that degrades it for others. Do not use it for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or close an account that does any of these, and we will tell you why when we do.

6. Free and paid plans

The free plan lets you keep a statement for the current month. A paid subscription unlocks your full history, month-to-month comparison, insights, analytics and export. The exact contents of each plan are described on the pricing page and may change; if a change removes something material from a plan you are paying for, we will tell you before it takes effect.

7. Payment, renewal and cancellation

Subscription prices are shown on the pricing page, inclusive of VAT where VAT applies to you. Payment is taken at the start of each period.

A subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep access until then. We do not pro-rate refunds for the unused part of a period.

If we change the price, the new price applies from your next renewal and we will tell you before that renewal. You can cancel instead of accepting it.

8. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason.

Because the service is digital content supplied immediately, you are asked to confirm at checkout that you want access straight away and that you acknowledge losing the right of withdrawal once we begin supplying it. If you do not give that confirmation, the 14-day period applies as normal, and you can withdraw by writing to [CONTACT EMAIL].

9. Your data belongs to you

The figures you enter are yours. We do not sell them, and we do not use them to build profiles or to advertise to you. You can export your data and you can delete your account, which deletes the statements that go with it.

How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the service running and your data safe, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may take it down for maintenance, and we may change how it works.

Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. The export function exists for exactly this.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for financial decisions taken on the basis of what the app displayed. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or — where you are a consumer — your mandatory statutory rights.

12. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may end the agreement if you break these terms materially, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give you reasonable notice and time to export your data.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters to you — pricing, liability, what we do with your data — we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and disputes go to the competent courts of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.

15. Contact

Questions about these terms go to [CONTACT EMAIL], or by post to [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [STREET, POSTCODE, CITY, COUNTRY].
